Learn more about Kenna’s journey in making science and scientific concepts more human, engaging, and accessible
A creature once dismissed as a myth.
A diver whose discoveries were buried for decades.
A mystery that refused to stay submerged.
In Octopus X, Kenna uncovers the true story of the world’s most rule-breaking octopus and the man who tried to tell the world about it long before anyone was willing to listen. From forgotten archives to tropical coastlines to the aquariums of dedicated hobbyists, this is a tale of science overturned, rediscovery against the odds, and the relentless pursuit of truth in a field that didn’t want to believe it.
Both a scientific detective story and a portrait of persistence, Octopus X reveals how one extraordinary animal forced researchers to rethink everything they believed about its kind.
